Boo Mix

Got this cute idea from Pinterest.  Anyone on Pinterest?  I love this site!  In fact, I have to force myself to get off because you can totally get lost on that site.  Well, for me that's how it is.  Eeks!!  Ever since I saw this idea, I knew I had to get the ingredients to make this and finally was able to do it this weekend!!  It turned out cuter that I expected.
The Boo Mix ingredients are:  goblin teeth aka candy corn,  ghost poop aka marshmallows, witches warts aka raisins and monster scabs aka cinnamon toast crunch.  I tried mixing all of the ingredients together in a big bowl, but in my opinion, it was kind of messy especially with the sugar falling off of the cereal.  So, after that batch was done, I decided to layer the ingredients.  Much better!
Here are the variations of the headers I made for the mix

This super idea of the mix (not the packaging) came from someone who posted it on Pinterest.  I tried to fetch the pin so I could post the link to give credit, but the site must be having issues because it's not letting me fetch the pin.  I will try again so you can check out this fun site and also I want to give credit for this super idea.  Well, it's still not letting me, so I will do a re-post with the link soon!
Thanks again for stopping by today.  Can you believe I still have more??

Marshmallow Ghost Lollipops

Saw these ghost peeps at Walmart and thought it would be cute and fun to make lollipops out of them.  They turned out really cute!  I wrapped them in cellophane bags and tied them up with ribbon and added a tag.  It was hard to stand them up to take a pic, so this is the best pic I got of them.
Here's a closer look at the ghosts...aren't they adorable??!!
This batch sported a different tag.  Love this mummy image from SU.
Here's what the peeps looked like before I took them apart.  I used these lollipop sticks.
Finally, I wanted to have some fun with my fingernails.  I've been going to Stephanie's Nails in Kailua for the past couple of months and really love the way Sam does my nails.  Don't look too close, because they are kind of growing out right now.  I know that everyone is now looking closer at my nails since I mentioned it...oops!  I've been using the wonderful gel polish that last at least 3 weeks without chipping (can you believe that?!)  Anyway, I told Sam that I wanted to do my own nail art this month, so he put on clear gel polish so that I could paint over the clear.  Fussing around with making a Frankenstein nail.  Kind of looks like a guy having a bad hair day, haha!!  Thought I'd just do the rest of the nails in black.
Here's the right hand.  Wanted to do a spider web.  Great tutorials on YouTube...
Thank you for spending a part of your busy day with me!  I have more posts, can you believe that??

Halloween Spider Box

Another fun Halloween project.  I was just fussing around when I made this spider on a box.  I love boxes and I was so happy that SU started carrying it again.  Then I thought...what am I going to do with them?  I wrapped a strip of DSP from the Howlstooth & Scaringbone collection.
The spider was made using the 1 3/8" circle punch, 1/2 punch and 1/8" circle punch.  The legs were hand cut strips.  Nothing fancy.
I put the sentiment on the back of the tag.  This sentiment is from an older Halloween stamp set called Wicked Cool, but it is still available!!  Even if Halloween is next week, if you like this fun sentiment (and the rest of the images), good time to get it.  We never know what sets will be on the retired list come June!
I wanted to put a web for my spider and played around with this idea...I used the Snow Flurry Bigz die and cut it out in black.  Thought it looked pretty evil in black, don't you??
That's it for today!  Thanks again for coming back to look at my post.  More coming tomorrow!

Halloween Tags

Of course, it's already the end of October and the last time I posted was the end of September...geez.  I know most of my subscribers are not keeping track of my posts, but it's the guilt that I hold on to for not posting that makes me bring up the subject - lol!
Anyway, thought I'd better post my Halloween projects before the month is over and we move on to the Christmas projects!  I will probably schedule a few posts to happen all this week so you won't be bored with one super long post.
I'm amazed that I actually was able to create stuff to give away this Halloween.  I guess mostly because my Dad is resting most of the time and I'm able to sneak into my craft room to create.  It's a good thing that my room is right next to the living room and it's wide open, so I can keep an eye on him.  September and early October was not a good time as my Dad was hospitalized twice and it really knocked the energy out of the both of us!
Okay...on to the's a photo of the tags all together...
I love this two tag die from SU...I embossed it with a spider web embossing folder.  This spider is an old Quickutz's so cute.  I love Halloween as some of you know (happy face!)  The sentiment is an old stamp that is one of my faves!
Same tag in Lucky Limeade...
How fun are these ghosts?!  This is an old Sizzix die.  The Booooo is a perfect stamp for these ghosts...a new Halloween set by SU.
This cute bat is from the same QK die with the spider.  How cute is this?!
I made larger tags for the few Halloween buckets made for the little ones.  Love my top note die.  I embossed it for some texture.  The ribbon is from Flora Dec that I bought a few years back.  Yeah, I "stocked up" on this ribbon, because it was so cute!!
Another larger tag...
and another...
Last one...this bat is another old Sizzix die.
I will be scheduling a couple more posts with more Halloween treats...thank you so much for your continued love and support.  It means the world to me!
