Winner of the Cookie stamps, Hello Kitty nails and a cute card

Thanks for reading my post today.  I'm a few days behind in selecting a winner for these cookie stamps, but better late than never, right?!  Thank you to all who commented on this post and for sharing your cookie stories with me, whether you baked the cookies yourself or just bought them freshly made - yumm!  I selected Rita as the winner of these stamps.  Toll house cookies are one of my faves too - they are classic chocolate chip cookies that we all love!  Rita - I will send these stamps out to you soon!  Thanks to all who played along.  This was fun; I'll be posting another giveaway soon!
I wanted to share my Hello Kitty nails with you.  I only did my left hand as I was having a hard time working these fine lines with my left hand.  I've been having problems with my left hand lately.  Anyone have trigger fingers?  My fingers are stiff in my left hand especially when I first wake up.  I think I overused my hands over the years.  Is this a sign to slow down some??  Love to hear anyone's experience or suggestions to help me.  I know I have to get to the doctors soon.

Sorry for the long post today, but I wanted to share this cute birthday giftcard card that I made last week.  I bought this cute Papertrey Ink die called Card Base-ics #1.  Love that it can fit a gift card so perfect.  Also used one of my new favorite stamps from Sister Stamps called Daba!

Thanks for your visit today and for reading this long post!  Congrats to Rita on the cookie stamps giveaway and I hope to see you soon!

  2. I know what you mean about your finger joints. I rub castor oil on my hands every night before I go to bed. It's a penetrating oil, and I think it helps the joints. Love your fingernail art!

  4. Cute HK nails and gift card holder Teri. Have/had trigger finger and it went away after awhile. Orthopedic doc said to just watch it and if it gets worse he would refer me to a hand specialist but it did lock a lot but now it's ok - weird that it's on my left hand when I'm right handed.

  5. Yippee!!! Thank you so much Teri! Guess I'll be making some sugar cookies soon! Love your Hello Kitty nails & yes you need to see your doctor, pronto. Listen to your body, it has a way of warning you, time to get it checked.

  6. I always look forward to seeing what you will paint on your nails. I love all the nail art that you have shared so far. This one I think by far is the best since I love Hello Kitty. I can't wait to show my daughter your nails. She will be very impressed like I am. :) BTW, with your fingers... I asked Benson about it. He thinks you may have early signs of arthritis . He suggests to move your fingers slowly in the morning and keep moving them throughout the day.
Instead of having problems with my left hand I have a problem with my left wrist. It got bruised with an airbag when I got into an accident awhile back. When I do too much with that wrist it starts to ache. I try to wear a brace when I work, but I don't feel like I can work as efficiently when I wear it.

  8. Cute nails Teri HK is definitely a favorite. Cute gift card holder, Daba looks like he's got a secret, a secret gift card behind him. lol.
sorry to hear your joints are sore. I think the ladies up top gave you some pretty good advice, I'm no doctor, so I can't help ya. Maybe you can look into acupuncture? Hope you don't have to suffer too much. TFS! Happy Wednesday!
