Wedding Card

I made this wedding card back in July, kind of the same time that I made my July C.A.T.S.  I really liked the colors used here as I wanted to keep it simple.  White was the main color and I used a silver and a new in color called Pool Party.  Loved the way it turned out.
Here's a peek of the inside of the card.
Here's the list of supplies used:
Stamp sets:  Petite Pairs #122495 wood #122497 cling; Word Play #120308 wood, #120651 cling
Cardstock:  Whisper white, Pool Party, Brushed Silver
Accessories:  #115963 Finial Press embossing folder, #122464 Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Basic Rhinestones #119246, #118874 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, #119850 1 3/4" circle, #109070 Whisper White Taffeta ribbon, stampin dimensionals
I'm hoping to find some energy to make a few Halloween projects.  It'll be here before I know it!  Thanks for coming by for a look today.

July and August C.A.T.S.

 First off, I would like to thank everyone who signed up for the Holiday Extravaganza!  Both classes are FULL!  Also, thanks for sending in your payments as it will help me pay for all of the supplies needed for this class.  I will be ordering this weekend so I can start prepping for this big event!  If you have not sent in your payment, please do so as your payment will confirm your reservation for the kit.  If you have ordered a kit to go, please send in your payments to reserve your kit as well.  Thank you so much!
Seems like I'm always "late" in everything that I do now days - I wonder why? (wink!)  Today, I'm sharing some C.A.T.S. projects from July and August.  C.A.T.S. is the card and tag swap that I signed up for for the months of July, August and September...wonder what I was thinking when I signed up!  Speaking of signing up, if you are interested in signing up for the C.A.T.S swap for October, November and December, hop on over to Joy's blog to check out the deets!  You can find it HERE!
Anyway, I posted my July CATS awhile ago, but didn't share what I received from my partner.  First, here is my CATS for September.  This is one of my new favorite sets from the 2011 - 2012 idea book & catalog.  This set is called Field Flowers and is a two step type of stamp.  I love how I can use two colors and it just pops right out from the card.  I used pink pirouette and early expresso cardstock, two of my favorite colors!
I decided to make it a birthday card - I'm always looking for a extra birthday card but never have any extras just lying around waiting to be used!
This was the CATS I received from Enjoli Bennett from Kona.  Thank you Enjoli! Love the cupcakes!! Please check out Enjoli's blog for more exciting projects.  Enjoli is the owner of Sugar Shack Crafts and the creator of such cute, cute, cute crafts!  She's also on facebook.  Right now, if you become a fan on facebook, you will have a chance on winning some awesome prizes, so go and check it out today!
My August CATS partner was Elena.  Love this cute set that I received!  The coloring is so perfect!  Thanks Elena!  I love it and the goodies too!  If you want some inspiration, go check out Elena's blog.  She is so creative and has endless inspiration!
Here are a couple pics of Mochiko.  I guess she's making use of my Fiskars cutter since it's been dusty lately from lack of my use! LOL!

Hope your week is going well.  Been extra busy lately with lots of doctor appts. for my son.  It's frustrating trying to find the right doctor to help you with your illnesses.  I think we found a good doctor this week and have some explanation for things that have been going on.  Boy, being busy makes me sooooooo tired! No time to do any crafting!  Hope I can get started on some fun Halloween stuff soon!  Thanks for stopping by today!  It's almost Friday!

Additional Information for the Holiday Extravaganza classes

What an overwhelming response!  Thank you everyone who already signed up for the classes!  Be sure to send in your payments by September 20th so that I can order and prep everything for you.

I forgot to post the time of the class.  Guess it's been so long since I've done a class, I forgot.  The class will start at 1:00 PM.
The Saturday class is full!  I have 15 girls signed up for Saturday, October 15.  If you really wanted to come to the Saturday class and don't mind squeezing, send me an email asap.  My Sunday class so far has 3 people.  Let me know if anyone wants to switch over to Sunday (no pressure).
I sent out the list of supplies and measurements to the demonstrators who signed up.  Let me know if I somehow missed you.  Demonstrators who are planning on ordering their own supplies and cutting/prepping their own kits need to have the cardstock cut before the class.
Everyone will need to bring their tool kits.  If  you are new to my classes, a basic tool kit just means your tools that you use to craft.  The most important tool is your adhesives and scissors.
I hope I covered everything, if not, I will post an update.
Thank you all so much for your patience and for believing in me.  It means alot to me to see that you all still want to come to my classes!

2011 Holiday Extravaganza is finally here!

Aloha Friends!
Just what is the Holiday Extravaganza?  It's my holiday class for 2011.  Here's the sneak peek!
 This class will take place on Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 at my home.  In years past, when I had more time to plan monthly classes, I would hold separate classes for holiday cards, gift card holders, gift enclosures and the popular 50 tag class.  As most of you know, recently I became the primary caregiver for my 91 year old Dad which left me with such a small window of time to plan these monthly classes.  I've been planning this class for a while now and it's finally ready.  Most of my regular class attendees have been asking me when will I be putting a class back on the calendar, well, it's finally here! And since I cannot promise that I will be going back to a schedule of regular monthly classes, I thought that I would hold one major holiday class that would include ALL of your favorite holiday projects with ALL NEW stamps and accessories!  This class is sort of three classes rolled into one - sounds like fun, right? I can't wait to share these projects with you!  I know you will love them all.
At this Holiday Extravaganza class, we will be making 12 holiday cards with envelopes (3 card designs), 12 holiday gift tags, 12 holiday gift card holders, 8 gift enclosures with mini envelopes.  Your holiday kit will include the following products and the use of all of my stamp sets, inks and miscellaneous tools.  You will still need to bring your own tool kit.
* Stampin' Card Keeper
* One-half of the Simply Scrapping Kit "Christmas Lane"
* Antique Brads
* Basic Rhinestones
* Baker's Twine - Cherry Cobbler
* 1/2" seam binding - Cherry Cobbler
* 5/8" satin ribbon - Old Olive
* Medium envelopes
* Square mini envelopes
* Cardstock

The cost of the Holiday Extravaganza class is $60.  It's like taking three of my classes, except all projects will be done in one class.  I promise, you will not be disappointed when you see how many projects you will make.
If you are a SU demonstrator, not in my direct downline, you can attend this class for only $5 if you order your own products and cut out all of your own cardstock.  If you are interested in attending, I will send you an email with the list of supplies and measurements for the projects when you RSVP.  You should have all of your pieces cut before the class
Here's a photo of how the finished projects fit so nicely in the card keeper.  It will be a great place to keep them all together until you're ready to use them during the holidays.

If you are interested in attending the 2011 Holiday Extravaganza, don't wait to RSVP because seating is limited.  The last day to RSVP is Friday, September 16.

Please follow these steps to make sure you get into this one-time class:
1.  RSVP to me via email to reserve your seat.  Please let me know if you are attending on Saturday, October 15 or Sunday, October 16.  Remember, last day to RSVP is Friday, September 16.
2.  Send in your payment of $60 to me.  I will email you with my mailing address once you RSVP if you don't have my address.  Your payment must be received by me no later than September 20I must receive your payment to purchase all of the supplies needed for your kits.  If I do not receive your payment by the due date, a kit will not be reserved for you.
Your kits will also include a fun bonus project and a special gift from me!  I can't believe that it's taken me so long to get this class together.  It's so frustrating for me to not be able to put these classes together like I use to, so I appreciate all of your patience.  Looking forward to seeing you at the class!  Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
