Ran Out of Space! New blog coming soon!

Can you believe that I ran out of space to upload photos??  I'm in the process of starting blog 3 so I can share with you photos from the Holiday class as well as other projects I've been creating.
Life has been busy to say the least...not with holiday hustle and bustle, but in taking care of Dad.  We've been regulars at the ER for various health issues, so with all of that, I've been trying to keep up with everything else.
Thank you for your patience!  I will be posting a link to my new blog real soon...just have to finalize a few more things first.  I hope you will join me on my new blog and if not, I totally understand and thank you for following me in the first place.  Life happens and I have to just go with the flow!

Penguin Money Holder

Another project that I created that didn't make the cut - LOL!  This can be used as a money holder (which is what I'm using it for) or you can make it as a card and put a sentiment in the envelope.  This fabulous idea is one that I borrowed from a fellow stampin' up demonstrator Dawn Griffith.  Her blog is called Dawn's Stamping Thoughts.  Please go visit Dawn's blog to be inspired!
Here's a better look at the front of the card.  I used the cute penguin from the No Peeking stamp set and of course the sentiment No Peeking!  The snowflake was cut using the Bigz die called Snow Flurry and you can find it in the Holiday Catalog.  I was trying to stick to the Primrose Petals and Gumball Green theme.
Here is the inside.  I used a mini square envelope to hold the cover of the card.  You can cut a piece of white cardstock 3X3 to fit in the envelope if you want to use this as a card.  I'm using it as a money holder since a gift card cannot fit in this tiny envelope.
I have one more holiday project from my class reject pile - LOL!  Coming up in a couple of days!  Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope your week is going smooth!
If you signed up for my holiday class, I will see you on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.!  Can't wait to craft with you!

Fun Giftcard Holder

Here's another project that didn't make it into this year's class.  I love this idea because it combines a giftcard holder and a mini card all in one.  This cute reindeer sentiment is also from the No Peeking stamp set.  The sentiment is from the More Merry Messages stamp set.  Cardstock colors:  Primrose Petals and Gumball Green, both from the 2012 In Color Collection.  I embossed the back cardstock with the new embossing folder called Lacy Brocade.  It's so pretty!
Here's what the inside of the mini card looks like.
Well, things are kind of getting back to a more normal speed.  My caregiver is back (yay!!!) and I can finally catch up with my sleep.  It might take me the whole week to catch up!  Dad is getting better and has had his follow up visit with his primary card physician.  Hoping that he can return to going to daycare for the two days that I signed him up for.
Thanks peeking in today.  I'll have another holiday project to share in a couple of days!

Jolly Christmas Tags

In searching for the perfect projects for my holiday class, I just had to create a whole bunch of projects before I select which will be included.  These tags came out real cute, but didn't make this year's cut for the kit.  Both image and sentiments came from a real cute set called No Peeking.  You can find this set in the Idea Book & Catalog.  In the next few posts, I will be using other images and sentiments from this set.
Here's a close up of the cute snowman!
Thanks for stopping by today!  More holiday projects coming your way this week!

Wonderful Winterland Card

While thinking of projects for my holiday class, I made this card.  Thought it was going to be part of the kit, but it didn't make the cut - LOL!  Not because it wasn't a cute card, but I thought it was a little too complicated to make in duplicate along with all of the other tags, giftcard holders and money holders.  I loved the way it turned out though, what do you think?
I like to think outside of the box and use non-traditional colors for Christmas.  I decided to use the color Pool Party with River Rock and added a touch of Cherry Cobbler.  I think it blended together pretty nicely.  The cute image is from a set called Wonderful Winterland and you can find it in the Holiday Catalog.  The sentiment is from a set called Greetings of the Season and contains four more perfect sentiments for your holiday cardmaking.
This card has an acetate window on the front and I adhered my cut out image on the acetate.
Here is what the inside looks like...the snowflake background and image is also from the Wonderful Winterland set.  The inside sentiment is from a must have holiday set called More Merry Messages.
Thanks to those who already signed up for my 2012 Holiday Class.  I'm looking forward to a day of crafting with you!
Thanks also for your visit today!

After Halloween shares...forgot to schedule this post!

I know that Halloween is over and we're moving on to Thanksgiving, but I wanted to share a few more photos and also the link to the blog where I got the idea from for the Boo Mix. The blog is called Sandy Toes and Popscicles...check it out!
I also made a Halloween card for my co-worker's grand daughter who lives in California.  I know that I'm out of it when I can't even remember where I got this cute card idea from.  Blog hopping and web surfing, you can so get lost.  I found this idea online, so it is not my original idea.  Thank you to whoever you are who created this fun card!  Here is my take...

Some of you know that Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.  Here is our window at the office.  This year, one of my co-workers found these cute pumpkin lights...love them!
I made this pumpkin in 1994.  Back then, I used to like to sew and made a bunch of these to give away.  Sorry to say that my sewing machine is kind of dusty, haha!  This pattern makes a huge pumpkin so I cut the pattern down because after the goodies are put inside, the pumpkin's face comes really long.
Found this cutie at Ross.  Love Ross!
Got this last year from Ross...
Okay, enough of Halloween...until next Halloween...Thanks for putting up with this post...we're moving on!
